Since “Podcast in Death” started, I haven’t really been able to read much more than “In Death” books, but the other day, I picked up “The ADHD Field Guide for Adults” and I just love how the book is put together. It’s not chapters and chapters of paragraphs of words that seem like an absolute slog to read, but instead all of the information is in kind of bite sized little snippets, there are some fun illustrations, chapter summaries, and essentially breaks up the information in a way that makes it so that it doesn’t seem boring and intimidating but very accessible. Highly recommend to anyone who has ADHD or suspects that they do.

I read a ton. So far this year I’ve read 62 books. Some are re reads. Favorite no InDeath books for this year are #1 Project Hail Mary. Amazing story and they did a great job showing the emotional empact in the movie. And #2 The Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Started in Feb and finished the first 7 just in time for the 8th book released in May. Mayhem at its finest. Highly recommend both! For the best experience you NEED to listen to them. The emotions and the twists in Hail Mary hit hardy hearing it. And Jeff Hays is a genius reading DCC. You will think there is a full cast but nope, its just him.
Some of my favorite series are the Mitch Rapp series originally by Vince Flynn now written by various authors after his death and the Scot Harvath series by Brad Thor. But if you do like Audio books you HAVE to listen to the Harry Potter series they are so fun to listen to!
I love romantic suspense stories, so I’m currently reading the newest release by Kris Michael’s, Heart of Shadows. It’s a next gen series following on from the amazing Kings of Guardian series ![]()
