Clearly, Eve and Roarke’s relationship isn’t perfect.
Which disagreement between Eve and Roarke taught us the most about them?

I think probably the best is in the beginning of “Treachery,” but If I think about ones that tell us who they are as people, I would say my favorite is the argument they have in “Portrait” when Eve (at Summerset’s request) finally confronts Roarke to ask him what’s going on with him.
First, it says a lot about Eve that she had been hesitating to confront Roarke because of her own insecurities, but even though she and Summerset had been combative in the past, as soon as Summerset says “you have to do something,” she does it without hesitation. Then, because of her insecurities, she asks Roarke if he’s regretting their marriage or fallen out of love with her.
For Roarke, it says a lot about how he handles issues that he’s really struggling with, which is to retreat and push everyone away. But once Eve confronts him, he’s pretty quick to reassure her that he still loves her.
Not to mention of course that it’s very “them” to essentially physically fight until one of them gives up.

They are in Roarke’s home office, and he presses a button to lock the door, and says if she hadn’t turned up, he was coming to her…..or have I got 2 scenes mixed up

That was in Glory in Death when they briefly broke up after the argument they had over the Giant’s Tear. She did come to him late at night to “question him” about the case.
That fight says a lot about them as characters also. Eve wanted to see him but instead of just going to him she has to tell herself she’s going to “question him.” And Roarke is all calm, cool and collected on the outside but inside he’s just about to lock the door and beg her to stay.
It’s a classic.

I think one of my favorite fights was about redoing Eve’s office. When she realized she just didn’t need even that little part of her past. That the house felt like her home and what it meant to Roarke seemed really important.
